Purcell, Inc. Named 2005 Remodelor of Merit
(ROMA) Award Winner
White Bear Lake, MN, May 6, 2005 –
The Remodelors Council of the Twin CitiesSM,
a council of the Builders Association of the Twin Cities, named
Purcell, Inc., of White Bear Lake, 2005 Remodelor of Merit
for Special Detail Components and Best First Time
Entry Special Detail Components in its annual awards competition.
Purcell is a unique home architecture and construction firm which
brings together the finest architects and craftsmen to renovate
and expand premier residences in the Twin Cities. Founded in 1998,
Purcell offers full-service, architectural planning, design and
construction of home expansions and renovations, select custom homes,
site and landscape design, and interior design.
In this year’s ROMA awards, there were 99 entries in 16 remodeling
categories. Designed to honor outstanding remodelors and their work,
the awards recognize quality, value, and how well the project met
client requirements. A panel of professionals reviews all entries,
choosing the winners based upon before and after photographs, floor
plans, plus a design statement explaining the challenges and needs
of the solutions devised by the remodelor, and the success of the
project. Purcell was named the 2005 Remodelor of Merit Award
Winner in Special Detail Components, a category that looks
at the design components of a remodeling project of any type. In
addition, each of the first time entrants was given an overall score
by the judges, and Purcell received a Best First Time Entrant
Award for Special Detail Components. Awards were presented
at a banquet held at the Four Points Sheraton Hotel in Minneapolis
on Tuesday, April 26, 2005.
